Changes to the Practice Podiatry Service

From the 1^st April 2021, Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has agreed for Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust to provide the service for patients registered with the above practices who have a clinical podiatric need. Dorset HealthCare already provides a service for the majority of Dorset registered patients.

For patients already receiving podiatry care, details of your last appointment date, your clinical podiatric need and when you are next due for an appointment will be provided by your current podiatrist to Dorset HealthCare who will contact you direct near the time your appointment is due. This will vary depending on your clinical podiatric need, but all patients will be contacted and seen. Dorset HealthCare will write to you to confirm the date and time of your appointment.

Should you decide not to receive podiatry services from Dorset HealthCare and prefer to pay independently for private provision, please ensure you choose a Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered podiatrist.
