About Us

The Farmhouse Surgery is a grade II listed building situated at Christchurch Medical Centre; the original farmhouse was restored to create the surgery you see today. Christchurch medical centre opened in 1992 consisting of three surgeries Farmhouse, Orchard and Barn.  Orchard and Barn have since merged to becoming Christchurch Medical Practice while Farmhouse remains an independent surgery providing general medical services to the Christchurch area. Services include, GP consultations, Long Term Condition management, wound management, minor surgery, midwifery services & family planning.

We work closely with local surgeries Stour Surgery, Christchurch Medical Practice and Highcliffe Medical Centre and together we form Christchurch Primary Care Network (PCN). Working as a PCN allows us to provide a wide range of  services to the area such as; Mental Health Support, MSK services, and a team of social prescribers who help you get the support you need when you need it. We are also privileged to provide an Urgent Response Service to the Christchurch area.

Also located at Christchurch Medical Centre is The Loft Suite here you can find private physiotherapy and podiatry services. Dorset Health Care services are also delivered from The Loft Suite such as: Abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) screening and Speech and Language Therapy services.
